Off to bike the coastline of New Zealand

In precisely eight weeks, I set off to try and bike the coastline of New Zealand. It's more than 8,000km (5,000 miles) all the way round - real cyclists tell me that's quite far. Had I known this, I would have chosen my words more carefully when I appeared on this crappy web series:
