What business do a French teen sporting the hairdo of Billy from Stranger Things, a dreadlocked American grad who claims his name is Adonis and this freewheeling no-haircut adventurer have hanging about in a field full of trees?
It’s been a fascinating week. 8am Monday morning, we met in high-speed winds, outside an office, for an induction. The induction consisted of reading a piece of paper and signing another piece of paper to say we’d read the first piece of paper. After successfully completing that task, we were granted passage to the field of dreams. Err, I mean trees. We were led through to the field of trees: rows and rows of trees.
I looked closely at the trees and noticed each one bore a number of icons. Actually, lots of icons. There were green icons, red icons, deep red icons and even deeper-red icons. Each one was shaped like the icon of that phone company, Apple. They were all slightly individual versions of the super tech company’s logo, but in three dimensions. Additionally, they looked natural and not artificial. What weird, twisted place had I found myself at now?
