Where to buy The Big Loop

Kia ora whānau! It’s a nice inundation, being asked where one can buy your first adventure book, but it also makes me feel like I should jot down a few places where you can definitely acquire a copy.

Within New Zealand

Buy The Big Loop here

Start with your brilliant, local book shop. Mt Eden’s Time Out Bookstore (where I launched The Big Loop) is a really cosy shop and has copies. Matakana Village Books had copies when I popped in at the weekend. I’ve also had verified reports that Unity Books in Wellington has stock this week. Remember to ask if you don’t immediately see it. It’s been popping up in all manner of sections: New Zealand, Cycling, Sport, Travel, NZ Non-Fiction and even True Crime (I made that last one up).

The bigger players on the high street are also stocking it. That means you can get it in Whitcoulls and Paper Plus.

If you prefer to take your spring water from the purest source near the summit, then you can buy online direct from the publisher, Bateman and have it delivered. A super-wide panoramic painting of other online sellers exist, so feel free to shop around on the web.

Within the international sphere

If you’re buying outside NZ, you can get a copy and global delivery from Fishpond. They also offer you bundles with some, err, interesting other titles, by authors with the same name as me. Don’t be fooled: The Big Loop is my first book. Out of stock at time of writing, but Book Despository also deliver worldwide from their website.

Thanks – I hope you track down a copy and enjoy it. Let me know!

Everything begins with a moment… When my GoPro snapped this and tens of other pics at East Cape, I had no idea what one of them would become. I'd bought some ingredients at the country's easternmost shop, pedalled through dotted showers out to the lighthouse and cooked pancakes on my stove, beside the tall white structure. This was purely so I could bring you the 'East Crepe' gag. But that day also brought about the pic that would end up representing the entire adventure I was on! From Cape to cover. This week, I was lucky enough to be reminded of the great people in my life, as a heap of them turned up to launch my book with me. What a ride the ride was, then what a ride the launch was. Thank you. And thank you to @batemanbooks and @dogsattimeout for supporting 'The Big Loop' – get your copy now! Some 📷: @ctf_photo & @scott_geary #thebigloop #thisismyadventure #greatread
